I met Catey on my 1st day of 8th grade. Both of us were newbs. New town, new school,& new friend for LIFE. We don't get together as much as we'd like to so I cherish each day we spend together.

On Saturday, we went to Forever 21 (to help her mom shop for a top lol) & discovered a photo booth!! Back in the day we were prone to hitting up a photo booth or two.
Well now a days, in 2011, photo booths are a lil more advanced.....this one had video.

I cannot watch it without cracking up!!!! :'D

Tomorrow morning I will be reunited with my favorite ruka. My ride or die bish for life, Liz.

I haven't seen her in a fucking YEAR. 

Yay for Thanksgiving and it's ability to bring people together!

This year, I'm thankful for the people like Liz in my life. The ones you can count on. I mean really count on. The people I can tell anything to-anytime. No judgement, no fear. The people who love me for who I  AM and not for what I have or what I can bring to the table. The people who will fly across the country, or even across the planet, just to be with me for a few days. I consider myself EXTREMELY blessed to have these kinds of close people in my life. Truly, I'm so grateful for their love and strength. They inspire me everyday.

Liz happens to be family, which only makes things sweeter because I get to brag that I'm RELATED to this amazing bish. Honestly though, even if we weren't bonded by blood, I know she'd still be a major part of my life.

This year's Halloween weekend was epic and super drunktastic!! Last year's was super fun and all but way more tame in comparison.
Friday's party was in Pasadena near my old stomping grounds in Altadena.

The music was perfect and I was surrounded by great friends and beautiful strangers....whom later became my new friends haha

Saturday night was part house party part bar hopping. Lots of interesting costumes. 

I didn't take as many pictures of people but I did get a few of myself ;D

My costumes were thrown together at the last minute. (I am newly single so the costume ideas previously discussed were all thrown out the window)

I used a lil figurine I have as a reference, peachy tan shoes and all

I made friends with a friendly caveman and a Chilean miner but I can't find the napkin I wrote their e-mail addys on. Oh well!

Tonight was laid back. We watched Machete, From Dusk Till Dawn, and American Werewolf in London.

Funny scene from Mad Men last night:

All that energy I spent on dreaming about being a mermaid didn't work. I ended up having this funny dream about making designing clothes and shoes with my bff Lady Gaga (lol wtf?). Everyone kept complaining about how tight the clothes were and how high the heels were and Gaga and I just kept shouting 'FASHHIOOON!!!' hahahaha

I'd love to be a professional mermaid one day though. Seriously.

I have an interview tomorrow and I really hope the company/position is as amazing as it sounds. I need a friggin job so bad.
Things I will buy w/my future paychecks:
♥ round trip ticket to see Liz in Chicago.
♥ round trip ticket to see Esteban in Madrid.
♥ round trip ticket to see Jules in Bastia.
♥ a myriad of clothes and shoes I've been gushing over.
♥ a mirror for the empty wall space above my living room fire place!
♥ an ounce or two of prime greens that I will turn into a super potent butter (esp. since Arnold singed bill 1149) :D

time to read until my sleeping pills kick in.
