Funny scene from Mad Men last night:

All that energy I spent on dreaming about being a mermaid didn't work. I ended up having this funny dream about making designing clothes and shoes with my bff Lady Gaga (lol wtf?). Everyone kept complaining about how tight the clothes were and how high the heels were and Gaga and I just kept shouting 'FASHHIOOON!!!' hahahaha

I'd love to be a professional mermaid one day though. Seriously.

I have an interview tomorrow and I really hope the company/position is as amazing as it sounds. I need a friggin job so bad.
Things I will buy w/my future paychecks:
♥ round trip ticket to see Liz in Chicago.
♥ round trip ticket to see Esteban in Madrid.
♥ round trip ticket to see Jules in Bastia.
♥ a myriad of clothes and shoes I've been gushing over.
♥ a mirror for the empty wall space above my living room fire place!
♥ an ounce or two of prime greens that I will turn into a super potent butter (esp. since Arnold singed bill 1149) :D

time to read until my sleeping pills kick in.

After Mad Men ended and as the preview for episode 12 began the announcer killed everyone's high by reminding us of something we've all been pushing to the back of our minds, there are only 2 more episodes left in the season. :'''''(  After the 17th of this month, a mere 14 days from now I will be left with this empty feeling that won't go away until summer 2011.
Saying goodbye to Baseball (this sunday was the LAST game of the season) and Mad Men in one month is rough. After being snapped back down to earth by AMC's evil annoucer guy I got another dose of dread when I realized the day is over and....




I don't want to be a total zombie at school tomorrow so I'm going to sign off now and slink into my bedcloud and dream about being a mermaid









I'll cuddle with my awesome pillow pet too....

Sunday MADMENDAY!!!!!

With each season my love grows fonder and fonder for Mad Men. It's sick. I CAN'T get enough!!

I have this funny love/hate relationship with my tv service. Eryc and I have DirecTV satellite and they broadcast on eastern time. So beacause we live on the west (aka the best) coast all my shows are shown 3hrs ahead. Sometimes this can be a real bummer because if I'm out on the town doing my thing I don't want to have to rush home by 7pm just so I can catch the latest epi of Jersey Shore. Especially when it's SUPPOSED to air at 10pm...luckily the internet is awesome and I can pretty much catch up on any show I miss.
Let it be know that I refuse to be a slave to the mind numbing black box in my living room (or the one on top of the dresser in my bedroom)!! STILL if I don't know what's going on at Sterling Copper Draper Pryce every week I think I'll just die.
Glorious glorious Sunday! The day of rest, technically the 1st day of the week, or as it's know around here, MADMENDAY!!!!
On this day I am sooooo in love with the fact that I get to see my show a whole 180mins early. Yet at the same time, if I'm not home (let's face it, most sundays you can find me @ the Venice beach drumcircle), I can still catch one of the several repeats AMC plays. It's a win/win. winning

In a few short hours from now on channel 254, episode 11 Chinese Wall will air and I'll be in rapture with Don, Joan, Roger, Lane, Peggy, Pete, Trudy and the gang.

Until then...

I can't get enough.
Earlier this week I got Season's 1 & 2 on DVD and I've been watching them non-stop. I cannot wait for season 4 to premier on July 25th!!!!
I just HAVE TO get my hands on season 3 before the next season starts. I've seen every episode but I want to keep the marathon going ^_^
